To protect ourselves, our clients and to maximise the quality and efficiency of our servers, all clients hosted with us must agree to the following Terms of Service.


Any content that violates UK, European or US law is prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, unlicensed software or files or material protected by trade secret and other statue.

Sites that promote any illegal activity or content that may be damaging to MaxieHost's servers or any other server on the internet are prohibited. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

Examples of non-acceptable content or links are:

• Warez Sites
• Pirated Software, Serials or Cracks
• Unlicenced Music or Video Media Files
• Hacking Programs or Scripts
• Child Pornography
• Bittorrent Related Material

MaxieHost will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.


MaxieHost allows Hosting client's to run programs continually in the background, these are considered on a one to one basis and an extra charge may be incurred based on system resources used and operational maintenance needed.


We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.


We do allow the use of legal and licenced adult material on our servers.


Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from a MaxieHost server or using an email address that is maintained on a MaxieHost machine is STRICTLY prohibited. For general reference, we consider Spam any email that is sent to an email address that did not ask for it to be sent to them. MaxieHost will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Opt-In email is acceptable, as long as Opt-Out/Removal request are fully honoured. Please make an effort to limit outgoing mail on your account to no more than 100 pieces per hour. Large mailings are preferred to be sent from the hours of 12AM - 8AM GMT.


Any attempts to undermine or cause harm to a MaxieHost server or client of MaxieHost is strictly prohibited. MaxieHost will pursue legal action to the fullest extent for any abuse of the MaxieHost Network.


If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed it will result in grounds for account suspension or termination. MaxieHost reserves the right to remove any account or files contained without prior notice. If MaxieHost terminates your account(s) for violating policy, your will forfeit your rights to a refund. No refunds for advance payments, on terminated accounts. Normal policy is a warning on the first offence, account suspention on the second and account termination on the third offence. Serious offences may be cause for immediate termination.


In signing up to MaxieHost you agree to above terms. We may change these terms at any time and it is up to you to check.
